The vehicles manufactured by the French company Navya are 100% electric, automated vehicles for use in public transport systems. The innovative driverless bus can carry up to 15 persons during trials and achieve speeds of up to 45 km/h (20 km/h during trials).

Communication between a GPS sensor and a base station to ensure that the exact position of the vehicle can be determined at any time.
Acquisition of the route taken and the speed of the wheels in order to calculate the speed of the vehicle and confirm its position.
Detection of obstructions and estimation of their position relative to the vehicle. Analysis of traffic environment (road signs, traffic lights, …) and extraction of information.
